Support the Latin Mass

The St. Joseph Latin Mass Society needs your support. Maintaining a traditional parish is expensive. Maintaining a traditional priest within an existing parish considering pay, insurance and expenses is also expensive.  The Society currently gives tuition support to seminarians in Our Lady of Guadalupe FSSP seminary. The Society also provides vestments, liturgical books, calendars and other supplies needed to support the liturgy of the Traditional Latin Mass also known as the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite.

There are two ways to support the Latin Mass.

First is by attendance. Like most things, the more demand there is for the Latin Mass, the more likely it will be realized. Our attendance averages 115 to 120 each Sunday. Our attendance figures need to be higher if we are to get better Mass times and additional resources.

The second way to support the Latin Mass is financially. There are several ways to contribute. The most obvious is to put funds in the collection plate at the Cathedral. These funds are to maintain and run the Cathedral. Checks can be made out to the St. Joseph Latin Mass Society and  given to one of the ushers at the Latin Mass.

Many of us have expressed the desire to have a dedicated Latin Mass Community with daily Latin Mass and more attractive hours on Sundays and Holydays. This can only be accomplished with adequate financial and attendance support.
